Last updated: September 10, 2025 Company: Edubond LLC Contact: contacts@edubond.ai 1) What Edubond does Edubond LLC ("Edubond AI," "we," "us," or "our") provides an app that helps families understand a student's progress by securely connecting to the student's learning system and generating AI-powered summaries and insights. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you use Edubond AI anywhere in the world. 2) What we collect • Account: name, email, role (Parent/Guardian, Student 13–17, Student 18+), settings, device push token. • Education records (read-only, from learning systems): courses/enrollments, assignments (names, due dates, status, scores), quizzes/tests and grades, teacher feedback, attendance/participation if available, and AI summaries derived from this data. • Technical: device/OS, app version, diagnostics/crash logs, basic usage events. • Support: messages you send us. • Subscriptions: status from app stores/RevenueCat. 3) Why we use it • Provide and improve the app; show progress and AI answers. • Send service notifications; support; keep the service secure. • We do not sell personal information and do not use it for targeted ads. 4) AI features To generate answers/summaries, we may send minimal, relevant snippets of your authorized data to AI providers under strict contracts. Providers cannot use your personal information to train general models. Limited temporary retention may occur for safety/operations. 5) Sharing We share data only with: • Service providers (hosting, storage, AI processing, analytics, email/push, subscriptions) under confidentiality and security obligations. • Legal/safety purposes when required. • Business transfers (e.g., merger) with continued protection or notice. 6) Children & students • Under 13: We require verifiable parental consent (COPPA). Parents can review, delete, or stop collection. • 13–17: Student affirms parent/guardian consent. • 18+: Student may use Edubond AI and choose whether to share updates with a designated parent/guardian. • FERPA: Edubond AI is not a school. By connecting to learning system, you authorize Edubond AI to access education records to provide the service. 7) Your choices & rights • In the app you can Disconnect Learning system, Delete Account & Data, and manage notifications. • Email contacts@edubond.ai to access/export, correct, or delete your data, object/restrict processing (where applicable). • EEA/UK: You also have GDPR rights (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection). You may contact your data protection authority. • US (e.g., CA): We provide a "notice at collection" (see Sections 2–3). We do not sell or share data for cross-context behavioral advertising. 8) Retention & deletion • We keep personal data only as long as needed for the service or as required by law. • When you delete your account or withdraw consent, we delete Edubond AI-stored personal data within 30 days. • OAuth tokens are invalidated on disconnect. • Security/audit logs kept about 12 months. • If your account is inactive for 12 months, we may delete connected learning system information (you can reconnect later). 9) Security We use encryption in transit and at rest, least-privilege access, logging/monitoring, and key management. Access to learning system tokens are encrypted, tightly limited, and logged. If a breach affects you, we will notify you as required by law. 10) International transfers Your data may be processed in other countries. Where required (e.g., EEA/UK), we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses. 11) Changes We may update this Policy. If changes are material, we'll notify you in-app or by email.
